Concubine of Lord Dyran, later his favorite. Daughter of Ambra and Jared Daeth. After her rival, Leyda Shaybrel, changed her food to the one made for elves (the special food for concubines contained fertility-suppressing drugs), she became pregnant by Lord Dyran (see Halfbloods). During her escape, she gave birth to Lashana, who was then brought up by a dragon shaman - Alamarana.

Son of V'Heven Myen Lord Lainner, brother of Yssandra.

A young elven maid (daughter of V'larn Tylar Treves and Viridina an Treves) whose mind Shana visited by chance, while making observations of the Citadel surroundings and who becomes one of the main protagonists of the next book in the series, the Elvenblood. Her father engaged her with V'keln Gildor er-lord Kynredth and this contributed to the fact that when soon after she learned that her brother was a halfblood, she decided to escape with him. Of no less importance was her fascination with dragons, skillfully increased/boosted by Myrenateli, who disguised herself as a human slave.
Together with her brother she joined Lashana and her companions, to swiftly fall in love with Mero Jenner. Described as slim with the characteristic pale silver hair and pale green eyes.

A strange fixation on a certain subject that was a result of the elven longevity. Lord Dyran suffered from it.

The dragon, who stabilized the gate between the worlds with one of his precious hoard-gems.

A dragon who made the mistake of confronting an elf in a human shape. He was injured and has limped ever since, but the elven lord was killed. He discovered that when an elf comes in contact with a dragon's claw he dies due to a shock reaction.
