he Gifts of Asti is correctly listed as a short story written by Andre Norton in 1948. As it is only about 16 pages long, I very much doubt that it was published as a book by itself. BUT, it was included in a book by Roger Elwood of 8 short stories, & in fact, Roger Elwood titled his book "The Gifts of Asti and Other Stories of Science Fiction".  I have this hardcover book, and so send you the cover picture of the book, which you could put with it. As I said, this book was edited by Roger Elwood. It was copyrighted in 1975 by Roger Elwood. It was published by Foliett Publishing Company. The jacket cover photo was by Francoise Nicholas Fried.
